Bouncer Bliss is available in three soft materials:

3D mesh in 100% polyester is a super-soft, flexible fabric that dries quickly after washing. It’s a high-tech, breathable fabric that retains its shape, wash after wash.

3D Jersey is our very softest and most velvety material. It’s a stretchy fabric that gently hugs your baby. Our 3D Jersey consists of 80% polyester, 16% cotton and 4% elastane.

Quilted fabric in 100% cotton has a soft and snuggly feel.

Unique fabrics developed for BABYBJÖRN

Since our fabrics are such an important part of our textile products, we develop the majority of our fabrics in-house. This allows us to ensure high and consistent quality and that the fabrics offer the unique properties we require. Read more about our different fabrics here.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products

All fabrics that come in contact with your child’s skin meet the requirements of OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products. This means that they’re kind to your baby’s skin and safe to taste.

Tested and safe

Bouncer Bliss and Bouncer Balance Soft complies with the US ASTM F2167 and the ASTM F2613 safety standard.

• Bouncer (max. 20 lbs 9 kg)
  You can use the product as a bouncer until your child weighs 20 lbs 9 kg or has learned to sit upright without support. Remember to use the safety harness and double-check that the snaps are locked (you can choose between two positions) when you use the product as a baby bouncer.

• Chair (max. 29 lbs 13 kg)
  When your child has learned to walk and sit down unaided, simply turn the fabric seat around and use the product as a comfy children’s chair.

• Washing instructions

  No matter which material you choose, Bouncer Bliss is machine washable on warm (40°C). The fabric seat should be washed separately but should not be tumble dried. Please use a mild, eco-certified detergent and strictly follow the dosage instructions. Do not iron or use fabric softener if you have a fabric seat in 3D

  Is the baby bouncer easy to take with you?
  Yes, Bouncer Bliss is lightweight and easy to fold down. You can move it around your home or take it with you to dinner at a friend’s house (when folded down, the bouncer fits perfectly in the basket under your stroller). It also has a smart and practical transport bag, which you’ll find here.

  What’s the difference between a baby bouncer and a baby swing?
  Our baby bouncer offers natural rocking generated by your baby’s own movements, unlike a battery or electrically powered baby swing. This means that our baby bouncer weighs less, making it easier to move around and take with you.

  Does my baby get the correct support in a bouncer from BABYBJÖRN?
  Our bouncers have an ergonomic design that provides the optimal support for your baby’s back, neck and head. The fitted fabric seat distributes your baby’s weight evenly, and the bouncer has three different positions, which means you can adjust it as your baby grows.

  How long can I use Bouncer Bliss?
  Bouncer Bliss can be used for newborns and up to the age of 2. In the early months (up to 20 lbs 9 kg), you can use it as a baby bouncer. When your child weighs more than 20 lbs 9 kg and can sit up unaided, simply convert the baby bouncer into a comfy children’s chair by turning the fabric seat around. You can use it as a chair until your child weighs 29 lbs 13 kg.

  What makes the baby bouncer rock?
  Our bouncer rocks gently when your baby waves their arms and legs. No batteries are required—our baby bouncer runs on pure fun!

  Can you change the fabric seat?
  Yes, the fabric seat is very easy to attach and remove. This is ideal if you need to wash it (all of our fabric seats are machine washable) or want to give your bouncer a makeover with a new color or fabric. Our fabric seats fit all of our baby bouncers, and you’ll find them here.
